SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, in which you tell the search engines about content. It means that you give your content to Google, optimize it best. So, the Google will show it to the users when they search a query related to your content. Now doing SEO is not too difficult but it includes a lot of work and strategies.

In SEO you can write a high quality content which Google checked and if the algorithm finds your content high quality it recommend it to others. For this you need to do a lot of things like indexing your content which I will guide you further what is it about. On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO and also Technical SEO. These are different parts of the SEO which you will know in this blog.

On-Page SEO

This type of SEO is only related to the content of the website means everything which a user see. You need to optimize it. In this you need to make a SEO friendly title of your website, blog post or a web page. Also optimize the URL of a web page along with the SEO meta description which users see on the Google search result page.

And the most important things is the content which is mentioned on that page. In which you need to add Headings like H1, H2, H3 and H4. Along with the Images which is must related to your content and mentioned with the ALT text. On-Page SEO helps in giving a signal to Google about your content. 

Many website don't focus on these basic settings which plays a very important role in the website growth. Also if you are using WordPress then it is easy for you, to do SEO with help of SEO plugins.

Off-Page SEO

Off-Page SEO means that you don't need to work on your website but you need to promote it with other sources. For this you need to create backlinks for your website means giving links to your website from other sources. Social media marketing, where you can share your post on different social media platforms to create your brand value. Now this can build authority and trust for your website.

Google loves those website which have a Good authority and users trust. And also it show on the top pages of search results. For example you have a very good high quality content, everything is perfect but on other side you have a competitor with no valuable content. But if they have more backlinks then your website Google will it on the top.

In this type of SEO, you need to create your brand value. Most new bloggers only thinks for short term and not long term. They only want to get AdSense approval and nothing all. But the problem is traffic in 2026 there is a big competition and you need to create your website brand value which give you more traffic.

Technical SEO

There is a huge problem which a new blogger will face is the website technical SEO. You just heard about the blogging and earning money but there is more issues than you think. Like if your website is slow Google will give you ranking and yes it's true. Like for example why Google will show you a website which take more than 10 seconds to load. That's how why, Google will show your website to others when it take too long to load.

Website speed depends on your hosting, themes and plugins, content , images and many other things. Also make sure you don't have any broken links in your website. Reduce the size of images and fixed your mobile menu design. Make sure your website load faster on mobile devices. These few things will boost your website.

Solve all these issues before applying for AdSense because they will check your website and my own website is rejected so many times because I didn't perform technical SEO. It improve the user experience and they love visiting your website.

Role of Indexing in SEO:

There is another important factors are indexing. Now your website is full ready all the SEO is done perfectly.  But if Google don't know that your website exists how it shows to users. For this you need to index your website which I guide you step by step here below:

1. First you need to create account of Google Search Console.
2. Add your website in GSC.
3. Submit your website sitemap.
4. Than submit your website for the review.

In Google Search Console you can see your website status. If it shows in Green like your website is indexed in Google. Than your site is visible to everyone. I hope you understand and follow all these steps because I really do some mistakes when I am a new blogger. So, I don't want that you will do same mistakes.

You can't compete in a niche which has too much competition. The big website have a full team of SEO specialist who can daily updates the content and working on the website. You along can't do that so find a niche with very low competition where you can easily find low keyword difficultly keywords.
